[0001] Description The present invention relates to a machine for dispensing products for feeding or forming bedding for animals, comprising: - a tank for transporting the products, - an exhaust fan having a fan radius and which can be rotated during work in a direction of rotation about a substantially horizontal or slightly inclined geometric axis of rotation relative to the horizontal, - a housing located at one end of the tank and in which the ejection fan is housed, this housing having a first opening for the passage of products from the tank to the exhaust fan and a second opening for the outlet of the products of the housing, the first opening having an upper side, a lower side, a first lateral side and a second lateral side, the products coming from the tank and passed through the first opening being then taken again and moved by the exhaust fan in a direction from the first lateral side to the second lateral side in view of the direction of rotation of the exhaust fan, a first plane being horizontal and passing through an upper end of the upper side, a second plane being vertical, substantially parallel to the geometric axis of rotation and passing through a second end of the second lateral side farthest horizontally from the geometric axis of rotation, - at least one shredding and mixing member of the products contained in the tank can be animated during work and moving the products in the tank to the first opening. Machines of this type are widely known. They are used to mix and distribute different kinds of products that are intended for feeding or forming bedding for animals. These machines comprise a tank that can receive fodder or straw in bulk or in the form of bales. During the work, these products are shredded and mixed by at least one chipping and mixing member, for example a screw with knives and rotatable about an axis, for example substantially vertical. A housing located at one end of the tank has a first opening for the passage of products from the tank to the inside of the housing. A movable door is located at or near the first opening. This door is kept in a closed position to prevent the introduction of the products into the housing until the work of shredding and mixing the products in the tank is not completed When the products are sufficiently shredded and mixed, the door is open and the shredding and rotating mixing member pushes the products of the tank towards the first opening. Crossing the latter, the products reach an exhaust fan located in the housing and rotatable about a geometric axis of rotation substantially horizontal or slightly inclined relative to the horizontal. This ejection fan comprises blades which move the products contained inside the housing towards a second opening of the housing disposed in an upper part thereof. This second opening is connected to an ejection chute for directing the flow of products to be distributed to animals. The first opening has an upper side, a lower side, a first side side and a second side side. On known machines, the first opening is generally substantially rectangular, the upper and lower sides being substantially horizontal, the first and second lateral sides being substantially vertical. Products crossing the first opening and moved by the exhaust fan are in a direction from the first side side to the second side side given the direction of rotation of the exhaust fan. The high-speed ejection fan compresses the air in an area within the housing and extends, in the direction of rotation, from the second lateral side and the upper side toward the second opening. Conversely, a portion of the first opening between the upper side, the lower side, the first lateral side and the geometric axis of rotation is a depressed zone where the air and the products coming from the tank are sucked up. by the rotating ejection fan. Between these two zones, namely between the geometrical axis of rotation and the place where the upper side and the second lateral side are connected to each other, a fraction of the products displaced by the exhaust fan has frequently tendency to be pushed back towards the tank instead of being directed towards the second opening. This is due to the substantially parallelepipedal shape of the first opening. This disadvantage reduces the work rate of known machines and makes it more difficult to completely empty the tank during work. The present invention aims a product dispensing machine for feeding or the formation of bedding for animals not having the defects of known machines.
[0002] For this purpose, an important feature of the invention is that a housing wall extends vertically from the first plane to the lower side and horizontally from the second plane to the first lateral side, to a boundary edge the first opening and connecting the second lateral side and the upper side between them, and that a shortest distance separating the geometric axis of rotation from a projection of this edge on a third plane substantially perpendicular to the geometric axis of rotation is less than or equal to 40% of the fan radius. Said wall thus has a particularly large surface that significantly limit the backflow to the tank products moved by the exhaust fan. This results in an increase in the discharge rate of the products through the second opening and a better emptying of the tank. Other features and advantages of the invention will emerge from the description below with reference to the accompanying drawings which show a non-limiting example of embodiment of a machine according to the invention.
[0003] In these drawings: FIG. 1 represents a perspective view of an exemplary embodiment of a machine according to the invention; Figure 2 shows a perspective view of the exemplary embodiment; Figure 3 shows a view from inside the vessel of the embodiment; - Figure 4 shows another view from inside the tank of the embodiment; FIG. 5 shows a side view along the section VV of FIG. 4. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the machine (1) according to the invention is a machine for dispensing products for the feeding or training litter for animals. This machine (1) comprises a tank (2). The tank (2) rests on the ground by means of wheels (3) to move the machine (1). The tank (2) comprises hooking and animation means (4) for connecting it to a motor vehicle, not shown, providing the animation of the working members (5) of the machine (1) and the moving the latter in a direction of advancement (A). In the remainder of the description, the notions "before" and "back" are defined with respect to this direction of advancement (A). According to the embodiment of the figures, the tank (2) is connected to a drawbar (6) for attachment to a tractor, not shown, serving to animate the working members (5) of the machine (1) and to move it. The tank (2) has a bottom (7) and two side walls (8). The latter are interconnected by a front wall (9) and a rear wall (10). The tank (2) is open on top so as to load the products for their transport and their mixture in the tank (2).
[0004] The working members (5) of the machine (1) comprise at least one shredder and mixer (11) of the products contained in the tank (2). This is located in the tank (2). According to the exemplary embodiment, the shredder and mixer (11) comprises a screw (12) carrying a plurality of knives (13). According to the embodiment, the screw (12) is mounted on the bottom (7) of the vessel (2) relative to which it can rotate about a substantially vertical axis. As shown in the figures, the machine (1) may comprise several shredding and mixing devices (11) of the products contained in the tank (2), for example several screws (12) rotatable about respective substantially vertical axes . In the embodiment, the machine (1) comprises two shredding and mixing devices (11) each comprising a respective screw (12) carrying knives (13). During work, these two screws (12) can be rotated in the same direction. A housing (14) is located at one end of the vessel (2). It is connected to a wall of the tank (2). According to the exemplary embodiment, the casing (14) is connected to the front wall (9) of the tank (2). As shown in particular in Figures 2 and 5, the housing (14) has a first opening (15). This is arranged on the side of the housing (14) facing the tank (2). This first opening (15) is intended for the passage of the products loaded in the tank (2) towards the inside of the housing (14). The housing (14) also has a second opening (16) for the output of the products of the housing (14). This second opening (16) is located in an upper portion (17) of the housing (14). An outlet chute (18) for the products is connected to the housing (14) at the second opening (16). This ejection chute (18) makes it possible to orient the flow of the products to be dispensed, downwards and at a short distance from the machine (1) when it comes to distributing food rations in troughs, or more to the top and at a greater distance from the machine (1) when forming a bedding for animals. An exhaust fan (19) of the products is housed inside the housing (14). In FIG. 5, the exhaust fan (19) and the inside of the casing (14) are visible according to the section VV of FIG. 4. They are also visible in detail in FIG. 3 which shows the first opening (FIG. ) in view from inside the tank (2). In this Figure 3, the vessel (2) is oriented so that its bottom (7) extends in fact perpendicular to the plane of the figure. The exhaust fan (19) has a plate (20) which carries blades (21). This plate (20) is carried by a shaft (22) substantially horizontal or slightly inclined relative to the horizontal. This shaft (22) is connected to a drive housing (23), located at the front of the machine (1), for driving the ejection fan (19) in rotation during work in a direction of rotation (SR) around a geometric axis of rotation (24) substantially horizontal or slightly inclined relative to the horizontal. The upper portion (17) of the housing (14), in which the second opening (16) is located, extends above this geometric axis of rotation (24). The exhaust fan (19) has a fan radius (25).
[0005] As can be seen in FIG. 3, this is defined as the radius of the circular trajectory, which the blade ends (26) distant from the geometric axis of rotation (24) draw, when the exhaust fan ( 19) turns.
[0006] As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the first opening (15), allowing the products of the tank (2) to pass to the exhaust fan (19), comprises an upper side (27), a lower side (28), ), a first lateral side (29) and a second lateral side (30). The first opening (15) extends vertically between the upper side (27) and the lower side (28). It extends horizontally between the first lateral side (29) and the second lateral side (30). During work, the products from the tank (2) and passed through the first opening (15) are then taken up and moved by the exhaust fan (19) in a direction (D) oriented from the first lateral side (29). ) towards the second lateral side (30) taking into account the direction of rotation (SR) of the exhaust fan (19). This direction (D) is shown by the corresponding arrow in Figures 3 and 4. A first plane (31) horizontal passes through an upper end (32) of the upper side (27). This upper end (32) is identified by a black dot in FIGS. 3 and 4. A second vertical plane (33), substantially parallel to the geometric axis of rotation (24), passes through a second end (34) of the second lateral side (30) farthest horizontally from the geometric axis of rotation (24). This second end (34) is identified by a black dot in Figures 3 and 4. A movable door (35), partially visible in Figures 2 and 4, is located at the first opening (15). This movable door (35) is mounted on the wall of the tank (2) to which the housing (14) is connected. According to the exemplary embodiment, the mobile door (35) is a door that can slide vertically in rails fixed to said wall of the tank (2), in this case the front wall (9). The movable door (35) is movable between a closed position and a maximum open position. In the closed position, the movable door (35) prevents the passage of products from the tank (2) towards the inside of the housing (14). The movable door (35) then completely closes the first opening (15). In the maximum open position, the passage section of the products of the tank (2) towards the inside of the housing (14) substantially corresponds to the passage section of the first opening (15) itself. The movable door (35) can also be partially open, namely to be placed in an intermediate position between the closed position and the maximum open position, in order to regulate the flow of products from the tank (2) to the housing (14). In Figure 4, the movable door (35) is shown in a position where it is close to its maximum open position. For work, the movable door (35) is initially held in its closed position. Products such as fodder or straw in bulk or in the form of bales are loaded into the vat (2). The at least one shredding and mixing member (11) is then rotated. The screw (12) and knives (13) that it includes then shred the products and mix. When the products are sufficiently cut and mixed homogeneously, the ejection fan (19) is rotated. The movable door (35) is then opened. The products contained in the tank (2) are gradually pushed towards and through the first opening (15) by the shredding and mixing member (11) in rotation, at the same time these products are sucked by the exhaust fan (19) because it rotates at high speed and its blades (21) create a depression at the first opening (15). The rotation of the blades (21) around the geometric axis of rotation (24) causes the products present inside the housing (14) to move towards the second opening (16), from where they are ejected at through the ejection chute (18). The invention is characterized in particular by the fact that a wall (36) of the housing (14) extends vertically from the first plane (31) towards the lower side (28) and horizontally from the second plane (33) towards the first lateral side (29), to an edge (37) delimiting the first opening (15) and connecting the second lateral side (30) and the upper side (27) between them. The edge (37) therefore extends in particular below the first plane (31). The edge (37) also extends between the second plane (33) and the first lateral side (29). According to the embodiment of the figures, the edge (37) extends obliquely between the second lateral side (30) and the upper side (27). In the inner part of the housing (14) 301 702 6 8 extending in the direction of rotation (SR) from the edge (37) to the second opening (16), the air is compressed due to the high speed of rotation of the exhaust fan (19) and the section of the second opening (16) substantially smaller than the section of the first opening (15). The invention provides that a shortest distance (d), separating the geometric axis of rotation (24) from a projection of this edge (37) on a third plane (38) substantially perpendicular to the geometric axis rotation (24) is less than or equal to 40% of the fan radius (25). This third plane (38) is visible in FIG. 5. By virtue of this characteristic, the edge (37) passes at a relatively small distance from the geometric axis of rotation (24). In the housing (14), said inner part, where the air is compressed, has a large volume, which considerably reduces the risk that the products moved by the exhaust fan (19) are discharged towards the tank (2). On the contrary, they are effectively directed towards the second opening (16). According to one characteristic of the invention, a first curve of points constitutes at least part of the edge (37), a projection of each point of this first curve on the third plane (38) is located at a distance from the axis geometric rotation (24) less than or equal to 40% of the fan radius (25). In other words, at least a portion of the edge (37), not reduced to a point, is located inside a cylinder whose axis coincides with the geometric axis of rotation (24) and having an equal radius at 40% of the fan radius (25). This cylinder intersects the edge (37) at two points (a) and (b) shown in Figures 3 and 4. The first curve is between these two points (a) and (b). According to another characteristic of the invention, the edge (37) consists of a second curve of points which connects the second lateral side (30) and the upper side (27) between them, a projection of each point of this second curve on the third plane (38) is located at a distance from the geometric axis of rotation (24) less than or equal to 40% of the fan radius (25). In other words, the invention advantageously provides that the edge (37) is constituted by the set of points which connects the second lateral side (30) and the upper side (27) between them, and that this set is completely localized. inside a cylinder whose axis coincides with the geometric axis of rotation (24) and having a radius equal to 40% of the fan radius (25). The edge is delimited by points (a) and (b). According to an advantageous characteristic of the invention, a third curve of points constitutes at least part of the edge (37), a projection of each point of this third curve on the third plane (38) is situated at a distance from the axis geometric rotation (24) less than or equal to 40% of the fan radius (25), this third point curve extends over an angular sector (S) of at least 60 ° around the geometric axis of rotation ( 24). In other words, the invention advantageously provides that at least part of the edge (37) consists of a set of points located completely inside a cylinder centered on the geometric axis of rotation (24) and having a radius equal to 40% of the fan radius (25), and that this set of points extends over an angular sector (S) of at least 60 ° around the geometric axis of rotation (24). This particular geometry of the edge (37) is thus characterized by a large length of the edge (37) and by the fact that it is located at a relatively small distance from the geometric axis of rotation (24). In addition, the wall (36), which this edge (37) defines, significantly reduces the section of the first opening (15) in its portion between the second lateral side (30) and the upper side (27). At the same time, the first opening (15) retains a relatively large section in its portion between the first lateral side (29) and the upper side (27). In this way, the first opening (15) has a total passage section of the products of the tank (2) towards the inside of the casing (14) large enough to ensure a good rate of ejection of the products, while ensuring that these products are not returned to the tank (2). Moreover, when the movable door (35) is moved from a partially open position, in particular half open, to its maximum open position in order to increase the ejection rate of the products of the machine (1 ), the arrangement of the third dot curve ensures that the product passage section under the movable gate (35) increases to meet the desired increase in the product ejection rate and that these products are sucked by the ejection fan (19) without being pushed back to the tank (2).
[0007] According to one characteristic of the invention, the angular sector (S) on which the third point curve extends is 135 ° ± 45 ° around the geometric axis of rotation (24) and is comprised at least between a plane horizontal (39) and a vertical plane (40) which substantially pass through the geometric axis of rotation (24).
[0008] Thus, the points of the edge (37), located at a distance from the geometric axis of rotation (24) less than or equal to 40% of the fan radius (25), are distributed over an angular sector (S) between 90 ° and 180 ° around the geometric axis of rotation (24) and extending at least between said horizontal and vertical planes (39 and 40). According to the embodiment shown in Figures 3 and 4, the angular sector (S) is close to 180 °. According to an advantageous characteristic of the invention, visible in FIGS. 3 and 4, the second plane (33) is located at a second distance (d2) from the geometric axis of rotation (24) which is 10% to 50% lower a first distance (d1) separating the first lateral side (29) from the geometrical axis of rotation (24). This feature reduces the risk that products moved by the exhaust fan (19) are forced back to the tank (2) at the second side side (30). This characteristic also reduces the total section of the first opening (15), which increases the depression created at the first opening (15) by the ejection fan (19) in rotation 20 and thus improves the filling of the casing (14) in products from the tank (2). According to an advantageous characteristic of the invention, the lower side (28) is connected to the first lateral side (29) by means of a first bias (41). According to the embodiment of the figures, this first bias (41) is located, with respect to the geometrical axis of rotation (24), opposite the edge (37) connecting the second lateral side (30) and the upper side (27) between them. Given that the rotation (R) of the shredder and mixing member (11) closest to the first opening, shown in Figure 2 by the corresponding arrow, moves the products towards the first lateral side (29), the first skew (41) avoids a harmful accumulation of products at the point where this first lateral side (29) connects to the lower side (28). The risk of such an accumulation exist especially in the case of a fitting at right angles between these two sides (28 and 29).
[0009] The first bias (41) also allows the first opening (15) to have a passage section that grows progressively as the movable door (35) is moved from its closed position to a partially open position. This progressive increase allows the mobile door (35) to precisely regulate the flow of the products towards the exhaust fan (19). Finally, when the mobile door (35) is to be closed again, it scrapes and cuts off the localized products. at the level of the first bias (41), this is done gradually because of the oblique orientation of this first bias (41). This prevents a package of products from accumulating under the movable door (35) and prevents its complete closure. According to another advantageous characteristic of the invention, the lower side (28) is connected to the second lateral side (30) by means of a second bias (42). This second bias (42) allows the first opening (15) to have a passage section that grows progressively as the movable door (35) is moved from its closed position to a partially open position. This progressive increase allows the mobile door (35) to precisely regulate the flow of products towards the exhaust fan (19). The exemplary embodiment of the figures includes such a second bias (42) in addition to the first bias (41) cited above, the combination of these two bias (41 and 42) gives a product passage section which increases very gradually over time. as the movable door (35) leaves its closed position towards a partially open position Finally, when the movable door (35) is to be closed, it scrapes and cuts off the products located at the second bias (42), this is done progressively because of the oblique orientation of this second bias (42). This prevents a package of products accumulates under the movable door (35) and prevents complete closure. As seen in Figures 3 and 4, the plate (20) has a periphery (43) which draws a circular path around the geometric axis of rotation (24) when the exhaust fan (19) rotates. The first bias (41) or second bias (42) has a curvature that substantially follows this circular path. Thus, in view from inside the tank (2), the products passing through the first opening (15) at the level of said first or second bias (41, 42) arrive in large majority directly on the plate (20) and the blades (21) he wears. These products are not likely to pass around the plate (20) and to be housed between the inside of the housing (14) and the plate (20) or the blades (21). According to the exemplary embodiment, the first bias (41) and the second bias (42) each have a respective curvature which substantially follows the circular path of the plate (20). According to a particularly advantageous characteristic of the invention, a minimum width (L) of passage of the products between the first bias (41) and the second bias (42) is equal to 60 ± 30% of the fan radius (25). That is to say, this minimum width (L) is between 30% and 90% of the fan radius (25). When the tank (2) is almost emptied after the products have been dispensed, the mobile door (35) is placed in a position where it is practically closed. Said minimum width (L) then gives a particularly reduced product passage section. The ejection fan (19) rotating at high speed then generates a significant depression below the movable door (35) which makes it possible to suck effectively the last strands of forage or straw present on the bottom (7) of the tank (2). Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment described and shown in the accompanying figures. Modifications are possible, in particular as regards the constitution, the arrangement or the number of the various elements, by different combination of the above-mentioned characteristics, or by substitution of technical equivalents, without thereby going outside the scope of protection of the invention.25
